The first few songs on this CD are more intense than other albums. That’s because of the intensity of the emotions we feel when we’re in the midst of the battle—recalling severe traumas like physical or sexual assaults. In the Bible, God comforts us with words of eternal justice for evildoers and rewards for those who seek His face and forgive—even in the most agonizing circumstances.

As we heal deeply and begin to grow up inside, we can bring our shame, grief, sadness, anger, hatred, desire for revenge, agony, and tears to Him. He totally understands our pain as He has been with us since He created us in beauty. He didn’t want Adam and Eve to disobey as He knew the destruction that sin would have on His precious children down through the ages. Since He has always been with us, He knows what wounds we have and how to heal us. That’s why when I’ve come to Him, He speaks loving truth and holds my hand as we walk on the journey together.

This is a battle between Satan—who wants us to hide so we don’t heal and realize the destiny God has for us—and a loving, just God who fights for us to come to His kindness and surrender to His love. I don’t want Satan to have one more millimeter of my heart or have one talon embedded in me! I want his evil spirits to be gone and my heart to be at peace in the Lord’s purity and joy. Why do we suffer? Why is there so much pain? Why are some people so cruel? God created each of us with free choice. Unfortunately, when people choose evil, they hurt themselves AND others. You and I have both been hurt by others’ evil. We have also sinned against others. Is healing possible? Dedication I dedicate this CD to those who have fought intense spiritual battles for me that I might apply the victory Christ won at His death and resurrection over evil spiritual forces into my life. Many have prayed for me at conferences and prayer sessions or labored in intercession for me even in the night. Several have sat with me for hours during prayer sessions, seeking the face of God with me for deliverance, freedom, and purity. I am overwhelmed by your generosity of time and labors of love. I am especially indebted to Dr. Tom Hawkins, Pastor Doug, Marion Knox, Gayleen Terry, Karen Sackett, Jon and Sherry Shumaker, Ted Hahs, Ken and Sylvia Thornberg, Susan Fisher, Barb Moore, my friends and intercessors, and of course, my husband, Brent. Most of all I dedicate this to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who suffered immeasurably for me and now intercedes for me before the Father. How marvelously He has provided a band of warriors for me around His throne!
